ADOPT-A-STREET PROGRAM IN NEW ALBANY
New Albany’s Adopt-a-Street program offers individuals, businesses, and community organizations the opportunity to make a lasting impact by keeping our streets clean and beautiful. Through this initiative, volunteers help reduce litter and enhance the city's appearance.
Participants commit to:
-
Adopting a one-mile segment of street within city limits.
-
Removing trash and debris at least four times per year for a minimum two-year period.
The Community Development Office and New Albany Main Street will recognize your group's efforts through social media and website features, highlighting your commitment to maintaining a cleaner, more vibrant community.
New Albany collaborates with Keep Mississippi Beautiful, MDOT, and Keep America Beautiful, ensuring that our efforts align with statewide and national beautification initiatives.
