Samaritan’s Purse is here in New Albany, offering FREE disaster relief assistance to homeowners affected by recent storms.
Their volunteer teams are ready to help with:
• Flood cleanup
• Debris removal
• Chainsaw work
• Temporary roof tarping
If you or someone you know needs help, call 833‑747‑1234 to speak with a Samaritan’s Purse representative.
Volunteer teams are based at First Methodist Church, 207 East Bankhead Street.
This support is completely free for those with little or no insurance, depending on need and volunteer availability.

City Administration

 

The City of New Albany is governed by a five-member Board of Aldermen, with representatives elected from four wards and one at-large member.  New Albany Light, Gas & Water provides reliable utility services to our community. For any utility-related inquiries or to pay your bill, please contact them at

Public Safety

The New Albany Police Department and Fire Department are dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our residents. Our police officers and firefighters are highly trained professionals who work tirelessly to protect our community. For emergencies, please dial 911. Parks and Recreation

New Albany boasts a variety of parks and recreational facilities for residents and visitors to enjoy.
