SEALED BID AUCTION

INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS

The City of New Albany is soliciting sealed bids for the following surplus vehicles. The auction allows the city to recover part of its expenditures for equipment and vehicles and provides the public with a fair and open opportunity to purchase these items. Anyone is welcome to bid and participate.
Bids will be accepted from Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 8:00am CST until Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 2:00pm CST.
Bids will be accepted via online through the GOOGLE FORM LINK located in each vehicle description box below (these will be available on Thursday, July 28 @ 8:00am CST) or sealed bids can be mailed or dropped off at New Albany City Hall, 101 W. Bankhead Street, New Albany, MS 38652. 662-534-1010.
BID SHEETS ARE AVAILABLE AT CITY HALL and NEW ALBANY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
The deadline for bids to be turned in is Tuesday, August 9, 2022 by 2:00 p.m. CST
All bids will be opened by The City Clerk on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 3:00pm CST
In the event that a tie occurs, the award will go to the bidder who submitted their bid first.
The vehicles are being sold “as is”. The City of New Albany reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The successful awarded bidder will be required to take possession of the vehicle within five business day of the award. Cash or certified bank check is required to take immediate possession.
